The Industrial Transformation Node
The Fabric
of Capital.
Austria's textile ecosystem is being rebuilt around circularity, automation and technical textiles. We engineer the fiscal runway for the companies doing the rebuilding.
Engage Textile →Textile
Advantage.
Engineering fiscal efficiency for industrial transformation.
Vorarlberg & the Technical Textile Corridor
Austria's textile competence is concentrated in Vorarlberg — a European hotspot for smart textiles, technical fabrics and textile chemistry, anchored by the Institute for Textile Chemistry and Textile Physics and the Textile Competence Center Vorarlberg (TCCV).
EU Textile Strategy 2030 & EPR
The EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles sets the direction: durable, repairable, recyclable products and a Digital Product Passport. Directive (EU) 2025/1892 makes it operational — transposition by 17 June 2027, functioning EPR systems for textiles and footwear by 17 April 2028. The investment window is now.
14% R&D Cash Premium & €2.6B Key-Tech Fund
Austria's 14% R&D cash premium applies to textile process innovation, recycling technologies and automation. The €2.6 billion federal key-technology fund explicitly includes advanced production and robotics — the enabler layer for automated sorting, repair and technical textile manufacturing.
